Depression

Who do I see?

CWIC Mental Health/Breathing Space/MYPAS/GP

Advice:

If you are aged 17 years and 9 months and over and are feeling anxious, depressed or have other worries about your mental health, you can call the CWIC Mental Health service on 0300 790 6292 between 09.00 and 16.00 Monday to Friday. An experienced worker will take your details and make an appointment for you to speak to a specialist mental health practitioner, who will ring you back at a at time that is convenient for you within the following 36 hours (Monday to Friday only). The practitioner will assess you over the phone, and provide help and support and if required they can refer you on to other appropriate services.

Please note that this service is not designed for people already being seen regularly by a Community Mental Health Nurse in the Community Mental Health Team.

This service is in addition to the advice and support offered by the practice for mental health issues. If you would prefer to speak to a GP about your issue please contact the practice on 0300 790 6277.
